Purchased by Waidler from Rob Lavinsky several years ago, this specimen is small but boast incredible pseudohexagonal thin rosette-like groups of crystals. At the right angles and with enough light you will see dark red-purple reflections, which apparently is a tarnish. I thought these were deep red internal reflections seen in silver sulfosalts. These are actually tarnished outer reflections typical of Sternbergite. Otherwise, is has a brilliant reflective metallic luster with black to dark grey color with mild iridescences of other colors. The largest crystal is 3-5mm across depending how you measure it. There are numerous other crystals.
