Stunning purple crystal groups of Strengite. The groups are very large and the crystals sharp and distinct to 8mm. I have not seen Strengite groups of this size from any deposit. They are probably out there but, I have not seen them. Strengite occurs all over the world, but it is still uncommon and usually found in sedimentary phosphate deposits and pegmatites. But they also occur in iron ore such as Svappavaara. This is wonderful specimen and deserving of a good, discriminating collector.
