To me, everyone should have a botryoidal "kydney ore" specimen from England. Well-known specimens will be seen in all major museums. It is classical stuff which has been documented in all mineral books. This is but a simple beautiful example which represents this locality exceedingly well. However, I have never seen on these specimens the bright red crystals which are found on this piece. These must be flattened Calcite rhombs with included Hematite. These are gorgeous and a bonus for this specimen.
