- 11 x 6 x 6 cm - Cabinet
- phosphate , beryllium , pegmatite mineral
The specimen was acquired by Nichols in 1976. It is a large specimen of mostly white to light pink Microcline with yellow brown large crystals of Herderite to over 1.5cm. The Microcline appears to have been etched and brecciated by remaining fluid of the pegmatite or later hydrothermal fluids which have deposited the Herderite. Most of the Herderite are twinned. As Mindat notes, most Herderites may be Hydroxylherderite, not much of a difference however.
