An excellent specimen with good provenance. The specimen was personally collected by RJ Waidler in 1968 from underground at the Blackstone mine. The Calcite crystals are of rhombic forms with a cool frosted, faint yellow color. The crystals average about 8mm. The matrix is massive, crystalline dark reddish brown Sphalerite.

A fine specimen which shows much better in-hand than on the screen. Calcite crowns to top of this specimen with 5-8mm colorless crystals. The back side is covered with the same. The matrix is of large framboidal, brassy colored Marcasite crystals. It's a very nice specimen with an accurate locality - the Elmo mine, which was personally collected by RJ Waidler in 1970.

Small cabinet specimen of Wulfenite covered with lustrous, very nice, brownish red Calcite crystals to 2mm. The Wulfenite plates were large and over 2cm. Scattered about are lime green acicular crystals of Mimetite. It is a fascinating specimen especially under the scope. I have not seen this paragenesis from Ojuela before. It was previously from the Al Kidwell collection purchased in 1966.

This specimen has a doubly terminated, twinned pink (manganoan) Calcite crystal to 1.9cm. The pink color came out a little more in the digital process, but in-hand is still a nice soft pink color with many more tiny crystals in the vug. It is a nicely trimmed and well presented minature specimen.
