Large, excellent radial sprays of deep root-beer colored Devitoite to 5mm. It is a relatively new mineral having been found only in Fresno and Maricopa Counties in California. This is the type locality.

An excellent specimen of this extremely rare mineral found only at the Esquire #8 claim and Trumbull Peak. This specimen features a 5mm dark reddish brown divergent group in matrix. It is associated with excellent crystals of deep red translucent Titantaramellite. Comes with a signed label by the one of the authors and discoverer, Robert Walstrom.

I couldn't capture these tiny crystals in the photos, but what you are looking at are canary yellow, minute, acicular crystals to less than 0.5mm virtually covering the entire are of yellow in the photos. Needless to say, this is a very rich specimen withexceptional crystals, albeit tiny!
