A fine specimen which shows much better in-hand than on the screen. Calcite crowns to top of this specimen with 5-8mm colorless crystals. The back side is covered with the same. The matrix is of large framboidal, brassy colored Marcasite crystals. It's a very nice specimen with an accurate locality - the Elmo mine, which was personally collected by RJ Waidler in 1970.

This is a fine mineral of perfection, with no flaws or damage whatsoever. The Calcite crystal is a doubly terminated scalenohedral crystal to 7.5cm and is perfect. The crystal sits perfectly on limestome matrix with Dolomite, Chalcopyrite and Galena. The Calcite itself has included Dickite giving it a "foggy" appearance. At one end the crystal is snow white from the Dickite totally intruding the crystal. It is a specimen out of the Martin Jensen collection of who had personally collected it in January of 1998 and recorded the exact locality as seen on his personal label (prov. tab). PS- it sits perfect. It shows much better in person.

This specimen has a doubly terminated, twinned pink (manganoan) Calcite crystal to 1.9cm. The pink color came out a little more in the digital process, but in-hand is still a nice soft pink color with many more tiny crystals in the vug. It is a nicely trimmed and well presented minature specimen.
