There is a lot of stuff going on in this specimen. The Iodargyrite occurs as waxy, yellow crystals grains to 3mm and the Chlorargyite occurs as waxy brown grains and crystals to 1mm and less. There is also Aurichalcite which occurs as tiny less than 1mm spheroidal sprays. The Smithsonite is a beautiful blue prismatic crystal to 2mm. You'll have fun scoping this one!

The specimen is from Ben Grguric. As he describes on his label: Cross-fibre vein of iowaite lizardite altered dunite with blebs of pentlandite. You will note his specimen on Mindat also states the rock matrix is altered to Dunite and the Iowaite is altering to pyroaurite. Note also the Woodalite crystal grains to 1mm in the matrix. The Iowatie "vein" is 5mm across.

This is a good specimen. There are over a dozen good groups of root beer colored, bladed Iranite crystals to about 0.5mm. The orange is of course the Mimetite, black Descloizite is also present as well as green Fornacite on the backside.

Chocolate brown tabular crystals of Iranite. There are exceptional crystals on this specimen to about 1mm with orange Mimetite. Very rich specimen. Take a look at Stephan Wolfried's photo on Mindat, much better than mine!

Probably about 150 millimetric silvery nuggets of Iridosmine, a variety of Osmium. This is an old Dr. F. Krantz specimen, see prov. tab. Size is of the vial.
