Simple a gorgeous specimen and an old-timer from the world's most famous mine in the eye of mineral collectors. The specimen has excellent orange, hexagonal crystals of Mimetite to 8mm with lighter orange tips. Upon these Mimetite gems are what I would term "bulbous" pale green groups of Smithsonite. There are some Mimetite crystals that have been collateral damage through the years. It's an old piece so that can be expected. It carries an old Ward's label. Take a look at the prov. tab. It's been in hiding for a while as part of the Willard Roberts collection.

Botryoidal Mimetite fashioned after lemon drops but not edible. This is a classic locality and very hard-to-obtain locality. It's one of my favorites. Although it is small, a minature, it nonetheless shows well.

Gorgeous burnt orange Mimetite crystals in ball-like or curled formations. The Dry Gill mine has produced some of the world's most famous and collected Mimetites localities in the World. The color is one of the most unusual colors for any type of mineral you'll find, not to mention the crystal habit and the pronunced color contrast of orange on black Coronadite.
