Haydeeite is a very rare copper-magnesium hydroxyhalide of the Atacamite group. It has been found only in Chile at three distinct localities, this deposit being the type locality. As you can see from the photos it is a very rich specimen with "Spangolite" blue crystals as singles and cluster.s It is associated with fibrous Atacamite.
