A good representative mineral specimen of this rather rare tin sulfide from this world class and historic ore body. This is a split off of an old Teallite specimen we had several years ago from the Philadelphia Academy of Sciences. See tag (copy).

It is hard to see the crystal grains, not because they are so small, they just blend in well. This specimen is small about 8mm but has at least three good crystals, which under the scope are bright cherry red. Very rare mineral with only maybe a dozen or so ever found.
