This specimen was labeled as Pyromorphite from Leadville! It didn't take a cleaning to figure that one out. But after the cleaning these golden, tabular Barite crystals (1-5mm) came to life! Awesome large specimen from this famous Rocky Mountain locality. It's heavy, so more shipping cost will apply.

Barite is rare from Tsumeb, especially in nice golden crytsals such as this. The crystals are thick tabular to 15 x 7mm. This specimen sits well on the long side and virtually damage free. A detachment point along side one crystal is evident but does not distract from the overall beauty.Very rare on the market if not impossible to find.

Large, thick, deep root-beer colored Baryte crystal to 6cm. The crystal is terminated and is 1.5cm wide at the base and tapers to a 3mm point. An interesting feature is the oscillatory growth paterns on the prism faces. Most of these specimens have this feature as shown by some curved striations and rounded growth patterns. It lies flat on golden Calcite matrix with crystals to 8mm. Another splendid piece, which sits flat without aid, displays well with exceptional luster and no damage!! This is an exceptional specimen at this price.
