Saturated red, highly lustrous hexagonal tabular Vanadinite crystals that increase in size from 3-4mm to over 1cm toward the top of the specimen. The color and luster of these crystals is superb and although the photos came out good, it's certainly better in person.

Older specimen which comes with a Bideaux mineral label. The specimen has hundreds of yellow to orange 0.5 to 1mm Vanadinite crystals lining much larger Quartz crystals. The backside reveals some Galena in the matrix, which contains the lead, essential to the formation of Vanadinite. The Vanadinite has a drusy frost upon each crystals perhaps a Mimetite overgrowth.
