Light pink Rhodochrosite with a bit of Quartz. This is an old, antique specimen once in the collection of Peter Zodac, founder of Rocks and Minerals magazine and was also in the mineral stock of Lawrence Conklin dealership. Look closely at the Conklin label, which states "Peter Zodac Collection". It is type locality.

Gorgeous concentric Rhodochrosite. The specimen is an excellent section of a larger mass and is sawed flat on one side. Excellent specimens for slabs and such or just a good specimen to round out your Rhodochrosite collection. If you have ever been to the Tucson show and seen the dealer's booth who sell this material you will know it is very expensive to purchase even a small specimen. This is a reasonable price.

Nice pink rhombic crystals from 1-3mm. Rhodochrosite from the Butte district is hard to obtain on the market these days. The Emma mine was probably the better producer of the mineral. This specimn was collected by Chris van Laer in 1986.
