An excellent specimen, which may be the better of the Macdonaldite specimens on this update. This specimen has good coverage with areas of Macdonaldite 3mm across and showing a good pearly luster. It is associated with Pellyite, the brown vein and also Sanbornite.

Excellent coverage of rare Macdonaldite in acicular radial sprays to 2mm over altered Sanbornite matrix. It is associated with tiny crystal grains of Fresnoite. Outside of the metasomatized barium deposits of California, there is only one other world locality for Macdonaldite.

An excellent specimen with radial sprays of colorless to white acicular crystals to 1-2mm. The crystals are free-standing. Macdonaldite is an alteration product of Sanbornite but is rare. This is one of the better specimens in this Special Edition.
