A larger specimen with two unique Barite crystals to 2.5cm each nicely set on the top of Calcite covered matrix. Both crystals show good clarity and excellent deep golden color and are nicely terminated with minor frosting on the tip.
This specimen sits perfectly without aid. The rest of the matrix is composed of rich honey colored Calcite crystals to 8mm in a large pocket about 2cm deep giving this specimen added dimension. Excellent, interesting specimen with no damage!!

Excellent piece from this famous locale with four gorgeous large crystals and five smaller set on light yellow Calcite matrix. Each crystal is terminated and the longest (5.7cm), which straddles the matrix diagonally across the back is doubly terminated. The three main crystals are each a gemmy classic golden Barite color and are 5cm, 2.3 and 2.4cm long. The longest crystal can be seen through the smaller on the right side of the third photo.
This specimen has good dimensionality with the complexity of the crystal growth characteristic of the locality. Oscillatory growth patterns, curved striations and secondary bulges exhibit this characteristic and can be seen well in the photos. The specimen sits naturally well, without aid and there is no damage. Superb specimen!!

Very unusual specimen of what was formerly Witherite and is now replaced by Baryte. The large 1cm plus "bubbles" of Baryte are hollow and the inside looks to be lined with tiny nail-head Calcite crystals. All the said minerals cover a matrix of Quartz crystals.
