This is a good Adamite specimen if you are looking for well-defined crystals. Most of the crystals are free-standing, vertically up so as to completely enable the viewer to see the rectangular - orthorhombic cross-section and the rectangular, chisel-like terminations. The crystals are about 6mm in length.

Deep green "cuproadamite" crystals most likely fro the 30 level of the second oxidation zone. Adamite from this level, like this specimen, contains the highes copper content. These Adamites are considered some of the finest from Tsumeb and are increasingly harder and harder to obtain. This specimen has 4-5mm crystals and is an excellent piece.
