Dendritic Copper growth crystals to 1.5cm on Calcite matrix. Tiny specimen, but most interesting.

Piece of glassy gray-blue Cordierite with some yellowish internal reflections. Comes with an old handwritten label. This little piece is translucent with great color and may be considered near gem quality.

Rough piece of blue-gray Cordierite, which when held up to the light displays pleochroism typical of Cordierite. Although Cordierite has many worldwide occurrences it is formed under specific high temperature and pressure conditions and is a indicator mineral in metamorphic rocks.
