Highly lustrous, reflective and brilliant short prismatic Enargite crystals to 3mm throughout this specimen with nice micro clear selenite crystals. According to Jenkins & Lorengo (Min. Record v. 33, n. 1 2002) Enargite was a fairly common mineral in the central and intermediate zones at Butte and accounted for nearly 20 to 40% of the underground ore production.

Helvite according to Jenkins & Lorengo (Min. Record v. 33, n. 1 2002) is a rare mineral at Butte and was found in a single specimen from the Lexington mine. This specimen contains a single lemon yellow anhedral crystal grain in Rhodonite matrix.
