There is more here than meets the eye. Some of these pyrargyrite are coated with a bronze iridescence and also micro crystals of which I am unfamiliar with. The Pyrargyrite themselves are mostly a dark, dull grey but the internal red reflections can be seen. These crystals are excellent, stubby and well-formed 3 or 4mm across and 3 to 4mm long. Cool OLD specimen on carbonate matrix with an University of Chicago label stating that it is a KRANTZ collection piece from 1963. The number on the label matches the mineral.

Neat peice with a lot gong on. The Wulfenite is a "blonde" color and are very thin as you can see in the photos. The Mimetite is yellow and actually replaces Cerussite. There are also hundreds of smaller, well-formed Mimetite crystals througout the matrix. Cool study piece.
