Very rare mineral from MSH. This specimen is packed with bundles of white, fibrous crystals and matted aggregates filling voids between Albite and Aegerine. The agregates are generally about 1-2mm.

Microlite with Whiteite- (MnFeMg)

Micro crystals of Microlite to 3 mm.

Chemical Formula: (Na,Ca)2Ta2O6(O,OH,F)

Lustrous, glassy orange micro crystals composing of all the matrix with white, acicular sprays. These sprays were tested by XRD and EDS and turmed out to be to my surprise Whiteite (MnFeMg)!!. It's an excellent specimen.

Yellow crystal grains to 1.5mm throughout purple Lepidolite matrix. Extremely rich specimen mined by Arthur Montgomery.

Chemical Formula: (Na,Ca)2Ta2O6(O,OH,F)

Glassy orange, octahedral crystals from 1-2mm, twinned.
