Shiny, reflective, silvery micro crystals to about 0.5mm suspended in rhyolitic(?) matrix. Originally described by R. Skála et al in 2007 "Vihorlatite, Be24Se17Te4, a new mineral of the tetradymite group from Vihorlat Mts., Slovakia" in European Journal of Mineralogy.
