Bright orange fibrous, very rare Wakabayashilite. This specimen as well as the others are formerly out of the collection of C. D. Woodhouse of the University of California at Santa Barbara and was collected in 1940 by FC Parris. It was also in the collection of Forrest Cureton given to him by Ann William. Copies of the four older , original labels are provided. Individual fiber are to about 1 to 1.5cm. Overall dimensions obviously can vary depending on compaction. There is a little more in this specimen than the others. |

Greenish platy Wermlandite (or Pyroaurite!) microcrystals embedded in white Marble matrix. Wermlandite is a very rare species and most of the specimens turned out to be Pyroaurite, so either this is a really great deal for a rare species or it is a representative Pyroaurite from Langban. |
