Announcing the
DAKOTA MATRIX NOTIFIER and SPECIAL EDITIONS

Our number one complaint is: “All your specimens are sold before I get to your website”. That’s obviously good for us, but bad for our customers. We strive to please all of you with good minerals, at reasonable prices. Perhaps that’s why our specimens sell so fast. Our new “Notifier” will help alleviate this problem.

In addition to our usual Weekly Updates, we will soon begin announcing SPECIAL EDITION updates at random times during the month. These Special Edition updates will only be announced via this NOTIFIER.

The Notifier is simply another method of informing you that we just updated the Dakota Matrix website with a brand new lot of minerals. The Notifier is a small pop-up window that when clicked, will connect you to the new lot of rare and superior minerals called Special Editions. The Notifier is a simpler, less intrusive form of communication. It is not email based.

You can also click DAKOTA MATRIX NOTIFIER to download the Dakota Matrix NOTIFIER Once downloaded, a small icon will appear in the lower right corner of your screen. When Dakota Matrix uploads a Special Edition Update, the NOTIFIER (screen shot above) will pop-up in the lower right announcing the update. Who knows, you might be the first one to see the minerals!!!

The Special Edition Updates will usually follow themes such as, Franklin mine minerals, Sulfides only, or Pegmatite Minerals.

A few Notes:

• This Notifier is designed to be as unobtrusive as possible. Dakota Matrix will never be “pushy” or annoying with no more than one or possibly two Special Edition notifications per week.
• You can UNINSTALL the Notifier anytime by going to your control panel and clicking on "Add/Remove programs" or other method in your control panel.
• The Dakota Matrix Notifier will allow you to receive notifications as soon as new products are released. The tool is NOT email based. A small window will pop-up in your lower right screen every 20 minutes.
• You have the option of turning off the Notifier by simply clicking the RED “Turn-Off” button.
• This tool works on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7.
• To VIEW an update, click on "View" in the Notifier's box.
• The Dakota Matrix Notifier will be used for Special Edition & Random updates, Inventory Reductions or Sales.
• The Notifier will NOT be used for the Weekly 36 mineral updates or the Daily Five minerals.  Please visit our front page for New Addition update times.
  
• We will always inform you on our first page when the Weekly-36 mineral updates will be published. But will not pre-post the date/time of Special Edition - random updates, specials, or sales.
• The Notifier, will notify you repeatedly every 30 minutes for the same update notice.
• To TERMINATE the Notifier for the day, click on the RED “Turn Off” button on the Notifier for that specific update. (There may more than one notification occurring throughout the day).
• Once you reboot your computer, the Notifier will turn itself back on.
• You can turn on/off the Sound Byte.

INSTALLATION

• To download and install this great new tool, follow these simple instructions:
  1. Click DOWNLOAD NOTIFIER and follow the download instructions.
  2. Save the compressed .zip file to a location on your computer.
  3. Open the .zip file and run (double click) DakotaMatrixInstaller.msi to install the software.
  4. You will need to restart your computer to activate the Notifier.

UNINSTALL DIRECTIONS

To uninstall, go to your control panel and click on "Add/Remove programs" follow the instructions on your screen.
